On a completely unrelated note, I've experimented with a cake recipe. I got the idea for an "apple cake" and have attempted to make one. It's cooling right now (ok, well, it's been cooling; I'm just waiting for the parents to get back so they can try it too...I feel wrong trying it by myself, even though I'm the one who made it). I'll let you know how it turned out...
